WICKED

We decided to celebrate our two-year anniversary a little early, and went to see WICKED! I've always loved the music from Wicked, sang "For Good" for my voice lessons, and have been completely obsessed with Kristen Chenoweth & Idina Menzel, so when we realized that not all of the tickets had been completely sold out, I begged Owen to let us go! My mom, sister, and grandma had seen it in Portland and said it was absolutely phenomenal, and if my mom likes something - you know it's good (she's a little picky :) So I had high hopes going into this show, and it completely blew me away! It was so much funnier than I anticipated, and the girls who played Glinda and Elphaba were amazing -- incredible voices, fabulous comedic timing, and wonderful emotion. The sets were gorgeous, and the costumes were the best I've ever seen! They were so whimsical and creative and amazing. We laughed, we cried, we sang, we LOVED IT! I would highly HIGHLY recommend this show to anyone who loves great music, hilarious shows, and outstanding performances.
