things to not do while wearing heels

top: kohls, blazer: thrifted, jeans: kohls, heels: charlotte russe
Reasons why this outfit was completely inappropriate for today:

1. Owen and I baby-sat a 2-year-old and infant today for a couple of hours.

2. I then went to the hospital where I really want to get a shadowing position, and hopefully they didn't think I was crazy.

3. I also had research today in an organic chemistry lab.

4. Which was all the way across campus from where I work and I had to walk there quickly. And then turned right back around because the chemicals I needed haven't arrived yet :(

Ohhhh the things we do for "fashion," right?

Remind me if I ever do this 30 for 30 thing again to put in MORE PRACTICAL black heels. Oh well. Only 8 more outfits left! I cannot believe the end is so near!

looks like fall! not.

jacket: thrifted, top: f21, jeggings: jcpennys, boots: target, reason why i'm only looking down: who knows
Okay, I think we should all take a moment to admire the blossoming photographer husband is becoming! I mean, check out that sun flare! I'm so proud of you Owen :) He is such a good sport about this whole thing.

Which is why I still need an awesome birthday gift idea for him!!! Will take any suggestions!

Remember how I was complaining about paintballing and then about getting a cardboard cut? Well it looks like I've been fooled all along. Because today after attempting to open a Pillsbury can of biscuits after the outside thing was torn off and it didn't pop (hate that), I cut my finger on the sharp edge of the metal can. Why am I so prone to self-ailment?! The best part was how husband cut himself ten seconds the exact same way after I ran to the bathroom screaming and trying to run the cut under cold water. We're so smart.

But actually I am smart, because I got 96% on my physiology midterm today. Oh yeah.

Today I'm grateful that I haven't completely chopped off all of my fingers. I mean, seriously.

i'm a sissy

Ever gotten a cardboard cut before? It's like a papercut, but with cardboard instead of paper.

it may look pathetic, but that baby is deep!
No?

Consider yourself lucky! I got one yesterday at work, and since I learned how to write in the WRONG WAY (as my mother so lovingly reminds me), my pen has been rubbing against it all day when I'm taking notes and stuff in class!

At least it is helping keep me awake in class, right?
earrings & necklace: ancient, scarf: target, top (which is really a "dress"): kohls, sweater: thrifted, jeggings: jcpennys, shoes: jcpennys

I'm pretty sure I wore these exact colors yesterday...time to do laundry, I know. All of our clothes are spread out across our living room floor currently. Studying types of blood cells vs. doing laundry...tough choices I have to make these days.

Future forecast is looking clear though! After this weekend, no midterms for two weeks--whaaaat?
