9. A husband who encourages me to buy yellow tights, and then thinks they are the cutest thing ever.

8. The Internet. Even though it distracts me...a lot...I like it. And like seeing new things and being connected with the big world out there.

4. The fact I don't have to go to my Torture Class of Doom tonight -- yeah baby!

3. The fact that instead I'm going up to the University of Utah pharmacy school to tour and meet with some students!

2. Another fact -- I finally mailed off the last of my pharmacy school application business yesterday -- DONE! (for realz this time)

1. Different cultures and different places around the world. Someday I hope to experience many of them!

Poor Guy

Have you ever had one of those days where you wake up 35 minutes late and then pour spoiled milk on your cereal but since you're such a zombie you don't realize it until like 7 bites in and then you want to throw up and die but you're still really hungry and then you don't realize until you get to school that your outfit is super ugly and unflattering? Yeah, today's one of those days.

But today, you know who I'm thinking about? Jeeves.

Yeah, from askjeeves.com. Whatever happened to that guy? I kind of miss him. I totally asked him real questions, every time. Ask.com just doesn't have the same human appeal, and plus the website is ugly now. I think that was the real day that Google won, when they got rid of Jeeves.

Okay, raise of hands out there--who knew today was Flag Day?

Also, can anyone tell me what Flag Day is all about and why we celebrate it?

All I know is that there is not a Flag Day theme for the Google site, which is quite disappointing. Where is your patriotism Google?!?

I never really knew much about it except that it showed up in my planner, and that today there was a flag placed in my yard.

So, happy Flag Day to all of you. I hope you can celebrate it in a more exciting way than I am, which involves studying for my physiology final. Woooooo. And making burgers for dinner. Now that's more like it.

 So I couldn't think of just one thing to be especially thankful for today so I am going to make a thankful list....Here it goes!

I am grateful for:

--my new purple-grey nail polish and how it never chips!--our super comfortable bed that we got a SUPER good deal on at this pretty sketchy place--blogs--the chemistry computer lab--BYU--research, even though I complain about it all the time--staples--my new watch and how I always know the time now!--OWEN MCKAY HANCOCK--Pixar and the awesome movies they produce (we just saw Toy Story 3 and it was phenomenal)--comfy shirts and shoes--Devynne taking me out to lunch on campus--water--Gmail and how it keeps my life totally organized--my planner, how it takes care of everything Google can't--my family and how I will see them soon!--the fact that there are only 44 more days in this semester--my genetics class--federal grants--wikipedia--milk--cereal--toothpaste and floss--the fact that our heater finally works now!--the apple pie I was able to make last night for the very first time (hopefully it didn't get ruined over night due to a silly move by yours truly...)--my job--online window shopping--online TV shows--5 subject notebooks--purple pens--braids--hand sanitizer--chocolate--pretty things--flowers--microscopes--strawberries--my fabulous family--being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (hopefully my Mormon.org profile will be reviewed and ready to go soon!!!)--the color orange--
