This weekend we were supposed to go to the zoo, but since it decided to snow, we decided to ditch the babies (my nephew and brother-in-law, not my own babies don't worry) at home and check out the tulip festival. Here's the thing about tulips--when it's cold, they don't grow very well. As we were driving up to the festival, we noticed that about 85.72% of the tulips hadn't even opened up yet and were still green! Lame! So we decided to NOT pay $10 each to see a bunch of unopened tulips and instead walk around the grounds outside the festival which were free! Also, I hope you enjoy that top picture--it was the only photo Devynne managed to take of me (and Kirsten). Thanks, sis.
